Arms to hold me tight,
lips to kiss goodnight,
voice to keep me calm,
coat to keep me warm,
love to keep my heart,
take me far away,
away from this place,
desolate and cold,
shiver in my heat,
dying in denial,
tears flow like the Nile,
relief a long way off,
for with answer comes,
distress and more pain,
for love never frees,
pain always finds me,
loves too good to see,
and so here i stay,
alone in dismay,
I fear what you'll say,
if you'll leave or stay,
